This brings the entire variety of migrant apprehensions up to now in August to roughly 47,000.
The August apprehensions present the continuation of a large migrant surge in the Tucson Sector that started over the summer season. Official CBP experiences protecting the previous two months present that Tucson Sector brokers apprehended 100,000 migrants. This brings the entire apprehensions for the previous three months to no less than 147,000 migrants.
