Biden Building Border Wall After Calling It ‘Waste of Money’ Under Trump

President Joe Biden will construct extra miles of border wall in south Texas after calling the boundaries a “waste of money” and “not a serious policy solution” underneath former President Donald Trump.
This week, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) introduced the development of about 20 miles of border wall in Starr County, Texas, which sits throughout from Tamaulipas, Mexico.
“The United States Border Patrol’s Rio Grande Valley Sector is an area of ‘high illegal entry,’” DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas wrote in a federal discover:

Mayorkas mentioned the company will use funding allotted by Congress in 2019 to assemble the brand new border wall in Starr County.
Construction will happen even after Biden used border wall development as a central tenant of his 2020 presidential marketing campaign — vowing that “not … another foot of wall” can be constructed by his administration.
