Blinken, Biden Continue Deadly Obsession with Palestinian State

Secretary of State Antony Blinken informed the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday that there must be a “Palestinian state” as the results of the battle launched by the terrorist group Hamas with the homicide of 1,200 Israelis October 7.

Blinken and President Joe Biden have caught doggedly to their place, claiming {that a} Palestinian state is a vital situation for Israel’s integration into the Middle East — exactly the dogma that President Donald Trump junked within the Abraham Accords.

Trump put aside the traditional knowledge of Washington — and Davos — to barter peace agreements between Israel and the Arab states that didn’t depend upon a Palestinian state, which Secretary of State John Kerry, amongst others, said couldn’t be completed.

Blinken and Biden appear unconcerned that Palestinians have little interest in a state. Hamas, given the possibility to manipulate Gaza, used help cash and supplies to import weapons and construct 350 miles of underground tunnels — none of that are for civilian use.

The Palestinian Authority, the so-called “moderate” different whose armed forces had been educated by the U.S., continues to pay Palestinian terrorists and their households, regardless that doing so means dropping U.S. funding for financial and social growth.

Both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority are primarily concerned with changing Israel, not in dwelling alongside Israel in peace. The occasions of October 7 have convinced even left-wing Israelis that it will be unsafe, and silly, to permit Palestinians sovereignty.

Blinken and Biden additionally don’t appear to care that giving Palestinians a state, after the worst mass homicide of Jews because the Second World War, would reward and incentivize future terrorism, giving Palestinians what they refused to attain by way of diplomacy.

Worse, Blinken and Biden are suggesting that the October 7 terror assault was brought on by the Palestinians’ statelessness, thereby offering a retroactive justification for the mass homicide, rape, and abduction of civilians, and continued rocket assaults on Israel.

The Biden administration is staffed with lots of the similar overseas coverage elites who embraced the outdated, failed “Palestinians first” mannequin. It isn’t any shock, then, that not one Arab or Muslim nation has joined the Abraham Accords since Biden took workplace.

Indeed, when Saudi Arabia sought peace with Israel final yr, the Biden administration reportedly stalled progress by insisting concessions to the Palestinians. The Washington and Davos elites desire a Palestinian state greater than Palestinians, or Arabs, do.
