Four Cartel Gunmen Killed in Border City Shootout in Mexico

Law enforcement sources revealed to Breitbart Texas that the raids come as a part of an ongoing investigation by the FGJ into a number of kidnappings reportedly carried out by the native faction of the Gulf Cartel. As Breitbart Texas reported, the Gulf Cartel is engaged in a fierce turf warfare with a rival faction in Reynosa.

The ongoing battle sparked a dramatic rise in violence all through the state that manifested itself in large-scale shootouts, kidnappings, focused killings, carjackings, and different violent crimes. These crimes happen regardless of the efforts of the Tamaulipas governments to control statistics and declare that the area is secure.
