Authorities in the Mexican border state of Tamaulipas are in search of those that robbed a Texas man and took his four-door SUV as he exited a Reynosa pharmacy. The armed theft comes when town is experiencing an increase in carjackings and car thefts because the Gulf Cartel has been utilizing SUVs in a fierce turf warfare.

Tamaulipas police investigators responded to a neighborhood hospital the place they discovered a 36-year-old man from Mission, Texas, who had his throat slashed throughout an armed theft.
